mooring on the Bridgewater wanted

I have been moored at Anderton for almost a year and my fee is up this month. I can of course renew. Come next Jan we are going to look for a marina in the midlands so we can see more of the network but its too early now to look.

 

I would like to moor on the Bridgewater until then as its a very easy canal to live with and is ideal for the occasional weekend in the winter

 

Anyone know of any moorings for a 57ft? I am trying Preston Brook marina which I have tried a number of times and Lymm cruising club, no luck there?

You could contact Mike Webb on 0161 629 8200. (manchester ship canal co) he won't be able to tell you of vacant moorings but will send you a list of where they all are with relevant names and telephone numbers.

Charles I'm on Preston Brook and it is full with a waiting list.

 

If you want I will ask the manager personally and see if he can help you out.

 

Is it not possible to stay where you are till January? you only have the stop lock at Preston Brook to contend with to cruise the Bridgewater anyway.
