OK, bit of a newbie question I know, but got to ask it.

 

 

Does anyone have or know of any residential moorings on the Severn. I'm specificaly interested in between Tewksbury (and slightly downstream) and Holt lock above Worcester? Also the Lower Avon too, or anywhere else in Worcestershire.

 

It's entirely hypothetical at the moment as I have nothing to moor, but I'm interested in getting some sort of barge (so it'll need to be widebeam, which means the canals in the area would be no good) to live on and I'm gathering as much info as I can at the moment. I'ld be interested in hearing if anyone's had any eperiences of living on this stretch of water.
