Thorne Lock - playing up..

A few boaters passing through Thorne have had problems with Thorne Lock today.

 

The main issue seems to be an inability to raise the bottom gate sluices to lower the boat. However it seems to be that leaky that eventually the boat will drop so still passable, just very slow.

 

Top sluices and gates still working OK.

 

The guy from C&RT has just pitched up now as I was typing this to have a look at it.

Seems to have been sorted - a boat has gone through with no problem...
