Glasson Dock Spring Bank Holiday

For those of you on The Lancaster Canal, or perhaps visiting up The Ribble Link (or even by sea), the annual LCBC (Lancaster Canal Boat Club) Glasson Rally takes place over the Spring Bank Holiday Saturday and Sunday (not the Monday).

 

There is usually much to see, entertainment during the day, stalls, boats, boat handling, sea going boats, and of course the very picturesque but still working Glasson Dock.

 

If you come by car there is ample parking for all, and it's a good day out.

 

Please be aware that I am a member of the club but not on the commitee or anything, so I'm not sure of the entry fee if you are in a boat, but if you enter you do get a plaque and goody bag etc. It's free (apart from the parking) if you come by car.
