Crick show & Watford locks

For anybody going to Crick via. Watford. If you don't subscribe to the Waterscape emails you may find the following useful-

 

 

Grand Union Leicester Line Watford Locks

 

UPDATE (13 May 2011): Due to the forthcoming Boat Show at Crick (28th-30th May), Watford locks will be open for slightly longer hours before and after the show.

The closing time for boats going to the show (up the locks) will be extended to 9pm from 25th to 27th May- last boat in 8.15pm.

 

The closing time for boats leaving the show (down the locks) will be extended to 9pm on 30th and 31st May-last boat in 8.15pm.

But it is not standard practice that Watford locks are closed outside hours, is it? I thought that was only at the moment due to an issue with one of the locks.
