the sad news has been passed to me by Jim Phillips our treasurer that

Peter Wilding has died today.

he was a staunch supporter of the trust and spent every hour he could near or on the canal

he was 79 and had a long battle with prostate cancer and had been in poor health for some time.

it has been a great honour to be guided by him as I took over his duties at Loxwood when sadly ill health forced him to take a back seat

 

rest in peace Peter you will be sadly missed by all of us at WACT and by everyone at Loxwood.
