Got this one this morning from BW - I don't normally post them up but it may be important to somebody on here at this time of year.

 

 

Harecastle Tunnel - Booking of Passage

 

Monday 20 December 2010 - Wednesday 5 January 2011

The tunnel approaches are currently iced and not navigable, we believe that it is very unlikely that this will change over the Christmas period if the weather does not improve. If you require passage through the tunnel between Christmas and New Year please book no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday 23rd December so that arrangements can be made to bring in staff if necessary, however we cannot guarantee that the navigation will be useable.
