granddad
My latest calorifier is the blue insulation 55 lites from midland chandlers. It loses its heat overnight. The previous one was beige insulation and didn't get cold overnight. The plumbing hasn't changed so its the calorifier. I'm thinking of an ecs smiths calorifier has anyone experience of them? ken
Ray
I think that calorifier is a SurCal one. We have one if it is the one that comes complete with all the fittings and ours doesn't do a good job of keeping the water hot overnight although it has got better since we fitted a non return valve on the cold water input and an expansion vessel on the hot water output. Still think it ought to be better though.
