Lichfield MP helps anti-gravel extraction protesters hand over petition The Litchfield.

 

As part of the Trent Waterway Freight Study follow up work we are naturally discussing carriage of aggregates by water - using the River Trent of course. None of the gravel companies I have spoken to can find anyone who knows anything about carriage using the T & M Canal. Can anyone shed any light on on where this supposed 'plan' originated - which company, which site?
