After a month's stoppage both Knostop flood and rise locks on the Aire and Calder (1.5 miles downstream from Leeds) are now open. The flood lock has had the cill repaired and the gates reboarded where needed, and the rise locks have been treated to brand new gates. For the next few days though, the top gates on the rise lock are missing the boarded walkway. Apparently the BW joiners were 'pulled off' to another job and hopefully the walkway will be fitted next week.
