Ange, Might just miss their tenure.

Our relation was the Co Sec. and her Husband the MD. They started the company out of the demise of another. When the boat owners clamoured for help with their engines, Grandad formed C-Power. Around the early 80's they did retire and sell the company on. I will check with her. She still has picture and clippings about the company and I have been trying to find engines still around that came from them. There is a motive - I write for a specialist magazine (for pleasure) and while I have pics of the company, I have none (strangely) of the engines they marinised. SO, you never know, I may ask for some pics at some point

Pics will be happily provided if requested. We actually have some already on Photobucket from when we bought the boat and had no idea what the engine was - the paperwork that came with the boat was sadly deficient and the surveyor was baffled. It was only through internet research that we found the details and obtained a manual. Twould be rather good if there was a connection - you'd be providing us with more history on our engine and we'd be giving you the pics you lack (don't you just love the internet!)

Let me know what you find out

Ange
