Talk by BW Project Manager on Liverpool Link

For the CWF members in the Northwest you might be interested in the following:

 

The Lancaster Canal Trust will be holding an Open Evening (non-members welcome!) where the guest speaker will be Richard Longton, British Waterways’ Project Manager for the Liverpool Link.

 

Richard will be explaining the objectives and showing the plans and latest photos of the construction for the first new canal to be built in England for more than a century. The Liverpool Link will open this spring and will enable boats to reach an exciting new destination for the Leeds & Liverpool Canal right in the heart of Liverpool.
