Hi - I have a 15hp honda outboard that has a manual start - but due to health issues I am finding it increasingly difficult to start - Is there anyway of converting this engine to electric start? Can a kit be bought or will this have to be done by a professional? or do i need to shell out on a new outboard that already has an electric start?

it would be possible if the bracket to mount the starter motor is fitted to the engine you already have if so its just a mater of getting the starter and wiring it in we dome it last year on a johnson engine that was a manual start
