Hello everyone we are John and Diana and are based in deepest rural Essex. We have been on 5 narrow boat holidays, and we are considering buying a narrow boat in the long term. In November we are doing a "boat move" for a holiday boat company. I will be making other posts in the approiate section of the forum for

Welcome to the forum! I'm new too - just picked up the boat on Saturday and brought it up the dreaded Wigan 21 lock flight! Did 28 locks in two days! Very tiring but lots of fun!

We used to live in Essex (Colchester) but now live in Northumberland! Hope to move to Cheshire/Shropshire in a couple of years so we are in a better position to buy/own a boat
