Can anyone recommend a marina who could do a total internal refit on a 60' narrow boat in the Bristol area for a reasonable cost (I do not want granite worktops or teak lining etc.)

We are looking for a residental mooring in the Bristol City Area - the nearer the centre the better can any one recommend one ?

We are looking at buying a wide beam boat in the Bristol area, how far can we get up the canal system please ?

Where can I find a map (online) that shows canals of the UK and the location of all the LOCKS on them ?

Further to my previous post "She who must be obeyed" has changed her mind about going to Worcester. So I need help with our holiday route that meets these criterior. 1. Boat must be hired from a Alvechurch Marina - as they do a cruiser stern boat and the dog prefers them ! 2. The LESS locks the better 3. We have a week available and dont mind doing a stretch in either direction from a marina. I would say we are slow cruisers and average 4 - 6 hours a day at the tiller !

Myself and "she who must be obeyed" are planning our annual narrow boat holiday and would like some help with the route. Firstly it mus'nt have to many locks, and we want to visit Worcester, also we have have to hire the boat from Alvechurch Boats (Tesco Deals Tokens are paying for it). So really its all about marina choice. We have 6 1/2 days to fill.

I am considering buying a Wide Beam boat, and mooring on the Stort at Royden (I have some friends of friends) with a spare mooring. Can any one tell me how far down/round the canal system I will be able to cruise ? The boat is 10 feet wide.

Hi We are looking for a reasonably priced NB with mooring that is about an hours drive from Brentwod in Essex. It needs to be about 45 feet and in good condition - NOT a money pit ! Does anyone know of one ? Regards The Essex Land Lubbers

We are thinking of taking our holiday in August this year on Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, I would appreciate any comments re good moorings, areas to avoid, etc etc.
