I must be feeling a bit thick this morning, I remember there was a restriction in place at the County Lock in Reading, so I try and find this info on the web to see if its still in effect, and I am failing miserably, i tried to phone BW but they only offer an emergency number.

Is there a number I can ring about restrictions?

Have you looked at Waterscape.

Cheers, thanks, yes, that mentions the stoppage at the end of September for repairs but there was a time restriction in place a month or so back and the gates were locked outside those times and assistance was provided within those times, I just can't seem to find info on that?

I need to travel upstream through Reading on the K&A either tonight or early tomorrow (Sunday)

Is this it, adjusted search dates

18 - 25 Jul 2008 Restriction: County Lock 106 - Emergency Repairs

Associated Regional Office: BW South-West

Due to a structural failure of the bottom offside gate, the Lock is open for assisted passage by British Waterways staff between 10am and 4pm. Passage will not be allowed outside of these hours.
