central and water heating systems

have just bought new canal boat shell and am starting to refit but unsure how to do heating and water system and what is the best option apart from solid fuel as do not want this on boat. can any one help with any info on this and all aspects of refitting

Well you have two choices diesel or gas, gas is really best suited to recreational rather than residential use due to cost.
