Shamu1
I am trying to finalise the purchase of a boat and I am waiting a contract of sale/purchase to come from their solicitor, can anyone give any advice on this subject? Also when you purchase a boat second hand what documents would you expect to come with it? thanks Suz
RichardH
I've never come across soliciters being involved in boat buying - sorry if I sound cavalier but value for value you wouldn't involve a soliciter if you bought a Porsche. In terms of documents. I would expect the builders manual which includes details of the hull and machinery. The BSS. A receipt. A change of ownership form for the licence. Copies of receipts for work undertaken are a bonus.
