Geminid meteor shower

I've just been reminded that the Geminids are expected to peak tonight (13/14 December) and the event coincides closely enough to a New Moon (last night) to be spectacular.

 

A rural mooring is an ideal place to watch them, if the weather happens to be clear.

Already checked in anticipation and we are set for a very cloudy evening/night unfortunately.
