NB Willawaw
A few more photos of our progress here on the Nene. Despite good weather and little rain really, there is a good 2 knot current flowing with us, which makes manoeuvring interesting. Its good to be back on a river and the anchor is back out of its locker and shackled back in. This is Lower Ringstead Lock This is a view looking up the millstream from the Mill at Willy Watt. This is Kinewell Lake, near Willy Watt - a great walk on an Autumn day. This is the pub very close to the public mooring at Islip Bridge. Its a great 48 hour mooring with a water point (lot of washing done), a pub each side of the bridge and ready access to several Indian restaurants in Thrapston, a fish and chip shop and a supermarket. This is the view downstream of the bridge at Islip
