Shad has finally been relaunched at the National Waterways Museum after extensive work.
The work completed includes replacement of a number of pieces of sheering on both the cabin top and sides, the majority of panelling on the port side, new gunwale the length of the cabin, new running gear, a number of pieces replaced in the backcabin, new back doors, new slides, full engine service, new ash strips, all new livery, complete redecoration of the backcabin plus lots more. Of course, she has also been reunited with her original BCN plate thanks to the generosity of many. We are all incredibly proud and a lot of peoples time and effort have gone into this. Now on to Ferret!
