  1. hi dave, may be a stupid question never really got my head round electrics ac or dc. here goes anyway, are your 6 volt batteries connected in series and is this how 12v output is achieved. cheers sean
  2. hi all first winter living aboard, got condensation but the biggest problem is everything feeling damp clothes etc. out at work all day, so my question is, would i be better with a dehumidifier or a small fan heater left on while im out. hooked up to a land line by the way. or has anyone an alternative idea. cheers sean
  3. bought broad beam from ********* boats, quite a few problems. after sales extremely poor edited again to remove builders name
  4. just started to live aboard a new boat, only needed to run central heating properly this w/e. Eberspacher diesel boiler, ran it 2 hrs at night and tried running it sunday, could here the starter motor but would not ignite. ran the engine to recharge the batteries then the boiler worked. is this normal, do the boilers drain that much from the batteries? grateful for any help sean

  7. hi all just been told that waste water from shower, washing machine can,t be pumped into the canal is this correct?

  10. ok all im sean just got delivery of widebeam, 1 or 2 problems but otherwise really chuffed with it. intend to liveaboard when its finished. will more than likely bore you experienced lot asking stupid questions
  11. hi all just got delivery of widebeam from liverpool boats, been in water for 4 days & about 3-4 inch of water has collected in engine compartment. is this the norm. not used bilge pump till today.
