  1. You may have inadvertently switched Caret Browsing on try F7 to toggle it on and off
  2. A couple of months ago I went on the Anderton Boat lift. I was amazed that now its all computerised its still no where near as productive in operating as it was prior to computerisation. In fact if I remember rightly in the "good old days" it used to take around 8 mins for a lift cycle with one man operating it all. Now with the new computer and all the H&S polava it takes 5 staff 40mins to do the same. Computerisation isn't always the answer

  4. The Slough Arm is a short canal branch from the Grand Union Main Line to Slough in Berkshire (before 1974 in Buckinghamshire), England. It was originally opened to serve the brick-making industry. The last commercial traffic was carried in 1960, but as the plans to fill it in were opposed locally, the stretch was re-opened in 1975 and has remained in-use since. WIKI
