Hi We have a 14.75 x 2.1 metre narrowboat on the Canal du Midi that needs to come out of the water for examination. She has a BMC engine and probably a couple of hundred litres of fuel together with the usual bits and bobs everone has in their lockers. The problem is we have no idea of her weight and unless we can come up with an answer, no one is prepared to lift her. Does anyone have an idea please? She was build by a company called FC Engineering in 1991 Thanks Chris

Hi I have a Vanette Mk 3 supplied by Stove Ltd. The thermostat is broken on it but I can't replace it as it's obsolete. Because of size constraints I would like to keep the oven or replace it with a similar one. There must be someone out there that breaks caravans or refurbs boats and may have one, but I can't find them, any ideas? Cheers Chris
