I'm sorry. Why are we not allowed to join in with discussions? The only thing that I believe could be seen as spam was us discussing the video of someone swimming... the topic didn't really come to anything interesting.. but it is in the virtual pub.. and topics there usually don't. So I am sorry that you feel I am 'spamming' but I don't see how this is so. If you would like to discuss this further or argue your point can I ask you to PM me so we don't cause a problem on the main forum. thank you.

i guess the best thing would be to see if anyone would mind you 'crewing' for them or looking after the boat while they go away.. (see http://www.canalworld.net/forums/index.php...mp;#entry133487 ) and have a look around various websites to make sure you don't miss any oppurtunites.. Maybe talk to nigel and see if you can tag along with him for some of his boat moving trips? But obviosuly that would be more of a short term trip and not a longer residentual experience.

Hi All. We are off next weekend on a short trip from Worcester to Alvechurch so will need somewhere to eat for two nights. Do guy guys have any recommendations? Sam
