I'm finding it quite difficult to read the mid grey print on pale grey ground. Is there a way to enhance the definition? Like can I see in black and white pretty please?

Yes David! I, too have no comprehension of the new gobbledegook. And, yes, (scuse grammar here?) I've had some odd messages, but they seem to have stopped tonight.

A real cute looking moggy!

We can't have the dog lovers let it have it all their way. Whilst they are showing off some fine dogs in their thread, we need to do likewise. So let's see those moggies. I will upload some pics later, in the comfort of the pub wifi.
Still no pics of Luctor's new 1st mate!
Gawd - how many promises/excuses?

The bridge/tunnel under the new A421 was built into the construction of the road. So maybe that could be considered as the 'first sod cut'?

Canal & River Trust partners M&S in clean-up of Britain’s canals
The Canal & River Trust, the new charity which cares for 2,000 miles of waterways, is partnering Marks & Spencer as part of the retailer’s second M&S Big Beach Clean-up which, for 2013, has been expanded to include 50 canal locations throughout Britain.
The canal activity will see over 1,000 M&S employees heading down to their local canal bank to volunteer their time. In addition, and as part of the canal clean ups, M&S is making a financial contribution of up to £50,000 towards the Trust’s work to restore, conserve, enhance and educate people about the nation’s 200 year old network of waterways.
The M&S Big Beach Clean-up, including the canal events, will take place between 22nd and 28th April. A full list of canal locations to be cleaned by M&S employee volunteers will be available within the next couple of weeks.
Simon Salem, marketing director at the Canal & River Trust, comments: “The canal network is a national treasure and a haven for many endangered and much loved species. By supporting the new Trust and our waterways, the M&S Big Beach Clean-up recognises the value of the waterways for fish and other wildlife. By donating their time, M&S employees will help make a real difference to the canal that’s on their doorstep.”
The M&S Big Beach Clean-up is part of M&S’s Forever Fish campaign which is funded by the 5p carrier bag charge in M&S foodhalls. Since its introduction in 2008, the charge has reduced carrier bag use by 80 per cent and raised over £4 million for charity.
In 2012, the litter collected from M&S Big Beach Clean-up included fishing nets, ropes and bottle tops as well as more unusual items including a set of false teeth, half a sofa, a tenpin bowling ball, carpet and even a pink thong.
Customers can find out more at www.marksandspencer.com/plana and can follow the event on twitter (@marksandspencer or search #beachclean) and facebook (www.facebook.com/marksandspencer).

Well, I hope Maffi is given credit somehow for the endless litter picking he does with very little backup or thanks.

Very sorry to see this, but as time went on it seemed inevitable.
My thoughts are with his family and friends.

As I recall - the trailer showed someone unidentifiable shaking from a can what was purported to be petrol or other inflammatory agent along the interior whilst the student resideent slept/was already unconcsious.
I guess I could have got that all wrong too...........!

So sorry to hear this, feelings of course are with his family and friends like you.

THis poor man's daughter was on our local tv before Christmas, pleading for info. There was little CCTV. He'd left the care home in nightwear and my heart sank when I saw that. I'd guessed that this or something equally dreadful would be the outcome.
My heart goes out to that family.
