I have just fitted a new calorifier which involved extending the existing pipework from the engine. I have switched the engine on and appear to now have an airlock in the system. Any advise on how to remedy this would be appreciated

Wondered whether anyone can help. A couple of my friends also have a narrowboat and are having toilet trouble. They have a macerator toilet. After going to the loo the toilet appears to flush and the macerator does its stuff but the final action of sucking into the tank does not seem to be happening (hence they are left with a lot of awful brown water in the toilet. Does anybody have any idea what the problem is? Can anybody offer any advice please Lynn

I was wondering if anybody out there may be able to give me any contact details of a person who could fit diesel heating. I have recently bought a range cooker (which also runs the central heating and water heating). It runs on diesel. I need to get it fitted and am looking for a suitably qualified person who is used to working with diesel and also on boats. Any advice would be appreciated Lynn
