  1. I have found that site very difficult to navigate and have consequently missed many of the offers by not finding them in time. I have for some time now been a "supermarket tart" - this being, not hanging around outside supermarkets in fishnet stockings, but going to Tesco in week 1 and only buying BOGOF items that we can use - if you don't use it, it's not a bargain and buy in bulk if it can be stored (if item will keep or if you have the space- which can be a problem on a boat), then going to Sainsbury in week 2 and doing the same, Morrisons in week 3 and Asda in week 4 and them back to Tesco again etc etc. Staple items such as milk, bread and fresh veg are bought when needed from whichever store I am in or locally as and when. "Tarting" means that we get a large amount of our supplies at half price. Hope this is useful to someone. Michele

  3. Hi everybody! M name is Michele and my dream is to liveaboard a NB. I don't have a boat.............but that's a work in progress! If it was up to me, the house would be sold and I'd be sitting in front of a log burner on my NB this very second! BUT............................ My fella, who is 6'5'', has always said he wouldn't be able to live on a NB due to his height. Recently I got him aboard a friends NB and he found he wasn't stooping all the time as he expected. I have now got him to agree to a NB holiday next year, which I booked quickly before he could change is mind! (which he hasn't ..........so far!) Well, I look forward to getting to know you all and keeping you up to date with my progress! Hope you all had a great Christmas and best wishes for 2009! regards Michele
