How do I close this thread?

Whoever I spoke to on the phone was polite and apologised for not being able to help me out. He confirmed they had basically no business selling Red to passers by so wasn't worth providing that service.

They don't sell diesel anymore and have no plans to in the future

No one had fuel so I asked a local boater. Moored on the rings next to the newish pedestrian bridge at Cromwell Bottom. And walked 5 minutes up the hill to Oilswell. They were super friendly, sold me Red for £1.10 a litre in barrells and gave me a trolley and a hand pump/syphon. Got two bag of coal as well. Obviously the trolley system is not ideal but I've got a full tank now at a good price. Lovely people at the establishment who sold it to me when they were technically closed on a bank holiday.

Maybe, maybe not wouldn't like to find out on the river haha

I'm at the top of the Figure of Three Locks heading to the Rochdale canal. Where's the next stop for diesel? (Stanley Ferry have non till April) Thank you!!

Probably can fit in 40+ pubs the long way round if im lucky.

Yes I need to go to Leeds and Manchester. Might have to go to Leeds and turn around by the looks of it. Might hang around Leeds for 2 weeks and then decide our next steps.

Hi. New to all this apart from a holiday on the Shropie. Just bought a NB in Skipton and want to go to Leeds then Manchester, heading off tomorrow. Going via the Rochdale. Looks like some of this journey is on a river. Will I have trouble with water levels and flow? Where do I find this information? Also I need a spike?? Thank you
