Hello, I have recently begun looking into purchasing a narrowboat and had the idea of seeing if I could find my great grandaunt's old narrowboat 'Shongalolo'. Above: Photo from when it was owned by my great grandaunt. Based on my research I have found that it was a 42ft narrowboat built in 1987 by a 'W.W' or 'W&W' Engineers. More recently, the boat was sold by Norbury Wharf in: 2010: https://norburywharfltd.blogspot.com/2010/11/ 2014: https://www.norburywharfltd.co.uk/_webedit/uploaded-files/All Files/norburynews/Norbury NewsFebruary2014.pdf 2017: https://issuu.com/norburywharfltd/docs/norbury_news_61_february_2017 The CRT number is 46612 which on Canalplan brings up the same boat albeit with slightly different spelling 'Shongololo'. I have contacted Norbury Wharf about passing my details onto the 2017 purchaser, however they were unable to assist. I would greatly appreciate if anyone knows anything about Shongalolo, has seen it recently on the network, or has any tips on how I might continue my search.
