I just bought a 45ft narrowboat and I have no idea the last time it was blacked so need to do this ASAP. I’ve never done this before so don’t know the process. I’m around South West London. Please can you suggest any places I could get her out n paint for for a couple days? kindest, Hayley

Yes she was built in Holland 1951. The previous owner claims she was overplated. It’s an inline 4 engine not sure what brand. I’ve just installed a new alternator and she runs very lovely. I don’t have any survey information at all on paper. Ive started the insulation which I’ll have completed. I fit a small solar panel which is my only power on currently. Hi there, new to the site. I bought stupidly bought a boat without a survey. She’s a project 48ft long 8ft wide Dutch barge. I’ve completely stripped her and put new flooring in and a brand new stove. My circumstances have changed and I need to move off the boat and back to my family. I bought her by trading my old cruiser and payed and extra 5K which adds up to 18k all together. I understand people would be reluctant to buy the boat without the survey. What price realistically should I put it up for? Any suggestions. Thanks, Hayley
