  3. hi i purchased a van 5 years ago it had been stolen it was a private sale . the idetification had been changed . i also paid out for the aa to inspect it should it be stolen . the out come was the van had to go back the original owner . i lost my eleven grand . however the police told me had it been paid out on the insurance as regards loss to the origanel owner . i could of kept the van . and i could of told the insurer who paid out where to go .. and i was unlucky the insurance did not pay out so the van had to go back .. i learnt a big lesson that year . ive only bought through a dealer ever since and local so i can go back to them .. and ive just ordered a brand new vsailaway . as i never want to get caught again .. so im sorry 2 hear should you lose out .. and for any one having inspetions done by the aa 4 a vehicle ... they told me i was not a prudent purchaser and they were not going to pay out .. i gave up fighting the aa in the end .....
