that fire putty that you removed was probably doing not a bad job. Get double skinned chimmney not single. i found fire rope useful to fill any gap from inside the boat too!p.s. you shouldn't need to 'attach' it to the flange, it should just be a snug fit to remove when oot and aboot!!!!!

I hate that moniker, I ain't a bloody pikey, traveller, noisy bugger, out of work, looking for a way out of 'the system' totally etc. I jjust want to realise my dream of living on the canal! My second post here and i am so dissapointed that no one has picked this idiot up this piece of biggotry..man i hope you don't get your mooring sorted..by the sounds of it you are just the type of person who wants 'real people' off the canals! why don't you just say that you don't like NIGGERS too? BIGOT!!!! do the mods here tolerate these kind of remarks? having the water turned off happened to us last winter! BW scotland residential mooring and the only ppl living on the mooring so yes it was important that we had water! easlisly solved though....develop the realationship with the bw guys who are responsible for your stretch of canal, make sure they know you are living aboard..easy to miss amingst all the boats taking up residential moorings but not living on thier boats!!!!!!! my experience once the bw dudes know you are living on your boat they will bend over backwards to help.. they ain't got much time for ppl with ££££ who come down to 'cruise'. so once the bw dudes know you are living aboard the communication begins...p.s. can't imagine much of a queue for water at 3am in the morning! just a thought!!!!!!
