hi guys and gals. i have been living in a van on and off (more on than off though) for 2years now. but i want more space and comfort so i want to take to the water. i have over £10,000 saved and my van is worth about £5000 so i should be able to get started (on a budget!) i have driven as far as bosnia in my van and enjoy a nomadic content wide lifestyle. im happy to hitchhike to a country where it's cheaper to buy my boat, then leisurely tour europe but i dont know where to start. for example - bosnia is very cheap, but lacking in narrowboats what country can anyone recommend where i will get more boat for my money? also, out of interest, how would i get a narrow boat across the channel if i did ever want to return to the UK? thanks in advance! s m : ) e
