It seeeems to be that there's no stoppages from Oxford Jericho up to Pigeons Lock at the time i want to go there, being next weekend, but i have heard differently from other, less official but perhaps more reliable sources? Could someone possibly point me in the direction of accurate information? Much appreciated..

I am currently renting a 39 ft narrowboat - beautiful but very basic. There is a water tank on board but it isn't set up for use, currently all water needs to be brought in daily.. which is proving to be quite a pain. I was wondering how difficult it would be to set up the water tank to provide running water and what sort of expense i am looking at. I would be willing to try it myself but if it was too skilled a job i would need to get someone out to do it. I am completely new to boating life, seems like i would love it if i could just get the basic amenities sorted.. can anyone help? The next step i suppose after that would be to figure out how to get hot water.. Other more modern boats i know have all this sorted so it must be possible, i just need access to more information.
