  1. By coincidence a diesel specialist stops by at my work just now. So I asked him to take a look at the picture of the shaft and his thoughts. He said this was a 100% the problem. The twisted shaft / tooth combination resulted, for example, 3 degrees on the shaft is 1.5 cm or more on the pump housing. I am still seriously happy with the rebuild specialist, sh#%@ happens, and I am just glad it runs so well right now 😍.
  2. It's a beautiful day guys! The engine finally runs like a new one! The fuel pump has been refurbished again.... and the main shaft has been replaced. Apparently this was the problem, not a 100 sure but ok it works finally! So happy i can enjoy my boat again πŸ₯°. I want to thank you guys for all the advice and helpful ideas.   3. The engine til runs like *^% contact with the person ho has rebuilt the pump, and he wanted it back for a check. He took everything apart and the main shaft inside the pump has a crooked tooth. It is a thick tooth sow we think this may have gone wrong on the test bench. So another one went in, and the pump is ready to be fitted again. The idea is to get the rebuild specialist to mount and adjust and set the pump on my boat.. Only he is a busy man lives 2 hours away, but hopefully he can make time on a short notice.

  5. A friend told me to go out and spend an hour or more on the water so the engine en exhaust can dispose of the build up dirt from all my cold starts' en messing around in the harbor. Even try a bit of cleaning fluid in the raw water intake when the engine is hot. As you know, my fuel pump setting is kind of a mystery for me. Turn it left, right, or just leave it on the mark? Can someone help me out, is there a basic setting I need to find after replacing the pump.

  7. Thanks for the help guys, something to think about. My impeller pump has been replaced last year, so this must be in good condition, the water pump of the engine is a couple of years ago. Is there a way to check for malfunctions in the cooling system ? Where should I start to work in a logical order?
  8. Morning guys I did place the injectors and the engine runs smooth en sounds better. Still got the white smoke 😀 The only thing i can do myself at this moment is adjust the fuel pump. Can you give me an idea about the timing and how much i can change the position of the pump? For example, can i rotate it by 2/3 mm or should i even try 1 cm?
  9. The injectors are back and I am glad I brought them to the same person who did my fuel pump. He delivers professional and perfect work. He did a test and the injectors were bad. Sow he refurbished en adjusted them with new parts. Hopefully I can fit them next week because I am curious if my money and time eating Bmc has a full belly πŸ˜…

  11. Thanks guys! sounds like a plan, i will take out the injectors. To make shure its works well i will take them all out and clean them like the example of youtube. When this is done i will lett you know πŸ˜ƒ
  12. Thanks for te repley , I did ajust the pump a bit something like 2 maybe 3 mm left and right. Did not realy make a diffrence. How far should i go i did not go as far a 4mm ore more... This is the current setting on the picture.
  13. Greetings everyone πŸ˜ƒ back at it again. Last year I replaced the injection pump because it was leaking inward to the oil pan. After this repair the engine doesn’t run a nice as I wish, It smokes more than usual.. The timing of the fuel pump is correct. Is it possible that the fuel pressure is stronger and my injectors are leaking/dripping? Can you guys advise me to replace something or is there something i am missing?? Hope someone knows a way to help me out.
  14. The next step i will take will be next year. I've gathered some more information and the next thing to check is going to be the timing. There is a small.. Small possibility that the axle of the injector pump (inside the engine) has come out of place when i took off the pump. I don't think its possible however it needs to be checked! For now... I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thanks a million for your patience and the efford you and other members take to help me out πŸ™Œ Ok the part of the injectors sounds logical, and before everything worked fine.. so no need to just replacing it now. I have a picture of the parts that have been replaced it seems to me its very complete and correct.

  17. @Tony Brooks @Tracy D'arth The nozzles of Marco where the wrong ones! thanks to your advice he can now order the correct ones πŸ˜ƒ My problems are here to stay i think 😰 Question to you guys, Is it possible my engine runs different after fitting a fresh rebuild pump? *Is there more pressure what can cause it to run different than before? Should i start replacing the nozzles as well? Greetings Vincent

  20. Thanks @Tony Brooks I will set the timing of my fual pump a bit sooner and than i wil let it run for about 15 min or sow. Did not realize it takes a tim to dis-guard the oil in the exhaust system πŸ™ˆ Can you advise me about the stationary rpm? should i be setting it around 600 of more like 800 rpm.

  22. Update I had my pump rebuild by a professional πŸ’ͺ. After i fitted the pump i noticed something is different. the engine exhaust does smoke more and there is some oil on the water surface. I cant get it running nice, when i cut the throttle it stops and after adjusting the pump... warm start can only be done with a lot of throttle. I did turn the pump housing a bit left and right, the only difference i noticed was more rpm of less while turning it. Smoke stays and the oil on the surface of the water stays.... I did not take out the Skew gear (the part inside the engine block) and don' think it sits different than before. Is there something i am missing. Can you advise me PLEASEEEE 😨 πŸ™ are there some steps i can take to check whats wrong? With kind regards Vincent Holland
  23. I live in Holland and the thing is this kind of engine is not used or widely used. Therefore i am looking abroad, and its no problem to send out my old pump for a rebuild or trade part. The thing is i don't know ho is at the other end of the line πŸ˜„ I need someone i can trust with my pump, because there are a lot off rebuilds not correctly done as far as i know. My Connoisseur 900 did cost quite allot since i owned it and i cant afford double costs.
  24. Thanks for your time. Does anyone know a certified dealer or address for a rebuild. I have spoken with the people of Sheaf Diesel Services and the seem legit. It would be nice if someone knows anyone hoe does this kind of repairs.
