  2. I am trying to get some old pictures of the Regents Canal, any pictures would do but specificaly interested in City road lock and Battlebridge Basin, as my family worked at Parslowes Jam factory and bottling plant. I also would like to know what colours the little tunnel tugs were that belonged to The Regents Canal co. I think the later ones were built by Bushell Bros of Tring and their names were Brent Ruislip & Tring or ealier ones if poss. The family lived in Lavina Grove just parallel to New Wharf Road where the London Canal Museum is today. They rubbed shoulders with the boatmen as they drank in The Albion Pub which was accross the road from the Basin. Does anyone know who supplied Thorleys the grain wharehouse nearby. 3. Date 23-24 June 07 entry- There will be an admission charge to the public of £10 per car. Location- Braunston Marina -North/hants Contact information- mailto:tim@braunstonmarina.co.uk The rallies alternate each year between the Fellows Morton and Clayton (FMC) boats on the one hand and the other boats with Braunston associations - Samuel Barlows, Blue Line, Nursers and the Grand Union fleet. This year it returns to the FMC boats, 29 of which attended the Rally in 2005. All surviving FMC narrowboats, ‘clothed’ or ‘converted’, have been invited to join the only surviving and recently re-restored steam narrowboat President and her butty-boat Kildare. The invitation to attend is extended to all other historic narrowboats still ‘under canvas’. These will be moored out on the mainline, thanks to the support of British Waterways. All historic narrowboats will be invited to participate in the twice-daily parades - led appropriately by President and her towed butty Kildare.
