Hi, I made an account just to comment on the this topic in mooring reviews but my account is too new to comment on it. Therefore, I shall post it here. Like you have said in that forum, Brinklow Marina has appointed insolvency practitioners since September and whenever I pass by there still appear to be moorings so it is still operating to an extent, albeit far less than there used to be. Regarding the marina owner Adrian Hallam, the only other company he was director of was Get Me Connected and he recently resigned in September maybe due to the insolvency. However, Adrian Hallam appears to have gone AWOL for some time as many of you already know. In the local area, he was director at Brinklow Quarry for some time and he then left but almost unsurprisingly, he ran the quarry in a poor way just like he did with the marina and was known for being a disagreeable man at the quarry. I don't know if that sheds light on the situation but as you can probably work out, he runs businesses in a bad way and it isn't too much of a shock to hear that Brinklow Marina has gone bust as has nearly all his other companies. If you do want any contact details for him, I guess it is worth asking at the quarry or other local marinas.
