  1. Hey guys, sorry for the massive delay here. Just to bring everyone up to date. I got the charger replaced and also got new batteries to boot. So far they have run without any issues which is longer than the original unit. So the original unit must have been faulty. Thanks for all you help and advice. Much appreciated
  2. And here's the response from Victron...
  3. Thanks for all the replies but to be honest it's just making my head spin. I'll get on to Victron in the New Year. If we didn't have this lockdown I could get a friend who knows this stuff to come have a look. Just miffed that for once the wife let me get something halfway decent but it's still a problem. Scratch that, I've sent an email to Victron just now @Sea Dog are you happy for me to quote what you've written if I need to?
  4. Brand new voltmeter. The display is from the app. No other displays, no shunt. Problem with the app?? Or are my leisures kaput? Or there is a bare wire somewhere and I've not managed to find it but think that would cause a much bigger problem?
  5. So have checked the voltages and first pic is the leisures second is starter battery. Batteries not hot, gassing and I don't hear any bubbling Sorry file size to big but second is 13.78
  6. So Christmas got in the way and I very lazily out on my charger again and rationalised that ordinarily once switched on you don't bother to keep checking every five minutes, ignorance is bliss after all, and the charger seems today to be behaving itself. No faults showing. Here are the screenshots the first is the starter only and the second is combined. I think there voltages seen okay but I'm no expert. So what do you guys think?
  7. I took those screenshots just prior to posting so is dark. I have a meter. When I get a mo I'll check. Thanks for your help
  8. Have 2 solar panels attached to a solar regulator. I've attached what is hopefully helpful screenshots as couldn't show video. The fault is intermittent.
  9. I recently installed this IP22 30/3. But after a couple of weeks I'm getting a fault saying batteries have over voltage. I was hoping the app would give advice on how to solve problem like OP my head goes to mush with battery stuff. So I've tried changing the wiring, of note when I attached to leisure batteries the app did not show two batteries charging but I checked with voltmeter and could see them charging accordingly. I know my starter battery is sound so I connected to just that one. My isolator can be switched down to connect the starter to the leisures. So after leaving it charging for 10 minutes or so I connected them all up (could this be too much load?). After a few minutes the same fault appeared. I'm stumped, are my batteries dead, is the charger faulty? I'm using a 2kw pure sine wave generator. Could running just the charger not be enough load on the Jenny? Any help or advice would be appreciated because there is nothing on the Victron site to help and nothing in there instructions.
