Just trying to wrap my brain around the requirements for going on the waterways. I'm sorry if these questions have been asked hundreds of times before but here goes;- - Boat needs registering. If it's second hand I presume it already has one. If so is this a one off & does this transfer to new owner? - Third party insurance (minimum) annual I assume? - License. This is the thing thats confusing me the most. How many do you need? - Mooring required unless continuously cruising and not stopping for more than 14 days in one place? - Boat Safety Scheme, required every 4 years? - Boat survey, if buying secondhand (recommended) Is this it or have I made a glaring omission?
