Thanks David, it hadn't even occurred to me that I could have a go at making one. I'll get some tubing and try it out.

I have a 70's GRP top stern cruiser with windows that need a thorough refurb! For a start lots of the latches are either missing or broken. Does anyone know where I can get hold of some of these? (picture attached). They're aluminium but I'm not fussy. All help much appreciated.
