Many thanks...Thanks for the replies, it doesn't surprise me if not many people have noticed the boat as it's pretty isolated where it is...it appears to have been there for some time...I will keep a quiet eye on it as and when I get the opportunity...you never know, Maybe something will turn up...thanks

hello all, whilst walking today on the Aylesbury arm of the GU about half a mile from the main town basin I came across a a moored up and locked up narrowboat called Lily Mae. the boat is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and whilst very tatty and dilapidated is none the less quite an attractive boat... I am curious to know if anybody has any information about it...thanks Ian...

I am considering having a tug style shell built with all the bells and whistles...ie: recessed panels, replica rivetts, tug deck (obviously) side hatches, back cabin, and separate engine room, etc etc...around 60 feet long...shell only as my retirement project...I appreciate there are a multitude of builders out, but as this is a little bit different any advice on who, where, and potential price would be appreciated...thanks Ian...
