I seem to remember somewhere in one of Pearson's guide books him mentioning a number of books from (i think) the first few decades of the 20th century by women describing their experiences of boating, and I want to get one for my wife for her birthday... but can I find the reference....?! If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful. Cheers

My wife and I are planning to go from Ellesmere Port to Manchester this Thursday (29th July 2021) on our narrowboat Westering. We've done all the paperwork etc. Just wondered if anyone out there (with a valid seaworthiness certificate etc) fancied bringing their boat along too...? Always more fun with other boats... Plan is to moor in Salford Quays Thursday evening, up Pomona Lock Friday morning.
