Excellent choice.

I would still use a branded product.
I carried this type of switch in stock.
-
I would only use a branded product such as Blue Seas or BEP.
To me the image looks to be a copy of a BEP battery isolator.

You could contact British Marine they should be able to supply some different companies names.

It seems that the wiring regulations prohibit the tinning of stranded conductors in screw terminals:

Dont forget that the IET regulations are for only domestic installation, not marine.

Only if you have one the correct size, wrong size crimps are worse than nothing at all.
If you dont carry a select of various terminals and ferrules as any good boater should have on board.

I try to get the strands well twisted together and then double them back on themselves so that the connection is full of wire before tightening the screws. Then go over the screws again before you finish.
Never has a burnt connection like the one shown doing it this way, or with solder.
I remember when copper was in short supply, after Rhodesia became independent I think, and we had to use aluminium cables for mains wiring. The existing accessories with one screw were not good at getting a solid connection and the aluminium was brittle, snapped off easily where the screw bit into the conductor if stressed.
A range of accessories with clamp plate connections were made, like CU MCBs are now, much better connections.
Quicker to fit a ferrule.

What happen when do up a screw type fixing and you only manage tighten down on a 1/3 of the stands?

I only use a desktop and i find the images very annoying plus the advertising as well.

That is a very out of date document. Publish over 20 years ago.

How many boats were built prior to the ISO?
ETA the first thing after the socket and prior to the transformer is a DP MCB. The reason being it then doesn't matter a jot how the shore supply is configured.
The ISO and the Recreational Craft Directive started back in 1998.
Could you please confirm where in the ISO or other marine specification document the requirement for the Double poled MCB?

The BS does state at which temperature or condition in section 721 just that 2.5 cable is rated at 16 amps so the table 721 supersedes all other tables is my interpretation.
BS 7671 requires HO5 cable as a minimum for outdoor location.
-
I suggest looking at Section 721 of BS 7671 Table 721 this to my mind this is the as close as you can get to a NB. the IET suggest using 2.5 mm rated at 16 amps.
-
Having just look at 4E2A I feel this is more applicable, for current ratings.

Do you know it there are any actual material changes ?
The new ISO should be published later this month or early in February 2021
I have not seen a copy yet. -
The RCD is replaced by Recreational Craft Regulation ( RCR)
-
ISO 10133 has not existed since 01 January 2020.

A good starting price for electric propulsion would be around 160,000.00
At the length you require. -

I bet you won't find a 32 Amp shore power supply, more like 16 amps if you are exceptionally lucky an could only be 6 amps in some places.
Be aware that I think it it was Victron (others may confirm) who wired their incorrectly, but they probably sorted some time ago.
There are now many marina within the UK supplying 32 amps. Because craft are being used as floating offices, I have installed and commissioned many installation.

have a look at Midtronics units.

1600 va = 1280 watts or thereabouts.
You will have to pick the machine carefully.

Is the output from the victron unit 1600 watts or 1600 va?
Two different things, most if not all victron units are va.

I have seen cables in lest than half a year, the copper in a three core cable was exposed.

I do hope that your new craft will be a 24-volt craft?

I have configured and reset MICC many times.
When was the last time the monitor was re-calibrated ?
Is it possible to re-charge the installation using a shoreline so that the system can get into float mode so that a manual reset can undertaken?
What is your location?
