Already a great read, thanks for blogging the build! If spray foam insulation can be done so carelessly by the boat builder, how easy is it to do the job yourself, I wonder. Or is it better (somehow) to just spend days repairing their work? Also Peppers: I'm in London most days, if that's where the boat is, would gladly come by and give you a hand for an afternoon. In all seriousness!

I'm probably weeks away from a similar order, very interested to hear your experience. I'll go find your build thread and follow along. Oh also: I saw a recent Collingwood 63x12ft in London today, can confirm that the (non?) deck is significantly narrower than other boats parked nearby, you'd probably want a good handrail...

Hi Peppers, I'm in a similar boat, considering a 60x11 Collingwood hull or sailaway, with VAT reassurance a very important issue. Very interested to hear what they'll put in writing.
