My friend is beside herself. After a panic manoever a couple of weeks ago, where the morse control was shifted from forward to reverse back to forward quickly, without a pause in between, it is now stuck in forward. Has any one experienced this problem before? Was it difficult or expensive to fix? Any info would be appreciated by mechanically minded friends!

I already have a small woodburner, was hoping to take it out to give me more space. The Propex system claims to use about a 13kg of gas per week, if used continuously. As I'm on a very small narrowboat I hoped the warm air would be sufficient. What sized boat are you on?

I'm thinking of installing gas/electric blown air heating on my little 27' springer. I've looked at Propex. Anyone had any experience of this type of heating? It looks ideal. I want to save space, this type of heater unit fits in a cupboard!
