Tony, Thankyou, I have owned this boat for 12 years and am quite experienced. I acknowledge the relationship of speed and depth of water. I have checked all the basics re condition of the prop, fouling, and shaft wear. This is an ongoing issue. Many thanks

I read somewhere that trimming around 30mm from the rear of my rudder blade may reduce tiller vibration. Any advice would be welcome.

Tony, many thanks. I confirm the thruster is electric. It has misbehaved almost from new and now has become a pain. I will investigate the items raised. Excessive use is not my main problem as I only use it for up to ten seconds at a time. Should I decide to replace it, could I fit another make of motor directly to the drive shaft or has the whole lot to be replaced? I have never been entirely happy with this thruster. Regards Chris

Has anyone encountered issues with BCS bow thrusters which either keep cutting out or stay on.
