  1. I've found somewhere that sells them for £25 but currently out of stock. I'll call them Monday to see if and when they'll be having more in.
  2. It's a new trend. I 3D printed it myself.
  3. 😂😂 😂 I have considered that and may do so. Cheers 🙂
  4. I could, then everyone could afford them and I won't be ripping people off.
  5. Great idea. I won't buy one, I'll make one out of an old bean can I have which I was going to use to make a carburettor for my uncle's second removed cousin's aunt.
  6. I see you're into photography. Nice photos. Here's mine. https://500px.com/p/christiller?view=photos
  7. It's still a rip off regardless. Not only B&Q but almost anywhere. There's not enough competition when it comes to narrowboat accessories so they put the prices up because they can. Also Thetfords are made in China. It's still a cheap piece of plastic. Not worth the money. Made in China. 😄 Okay, I'll try my best
  8. I wouldn't be asking the questions if I could !!
  9. It has started to look grubby and no amount of cleaning will bring it up nice. It's also starting to bubble in places. Using the spray, I can, using a fine wet and dry to smooth it off hopfully give it a new lease of life. At the end of the day, it's a piece of plastic and they're asking far too much for a replacement.
  10. I wonder how they justify the price, as I can pop to B&Q and buy a good quality toilet seat for around £10
  11. No I don't. I only replace it when it needs replacing.
  12. I have a Thetford 200CS and it's that time of year to replace the toilet seat. Does anyone know where I can get one at a reasonable price, as they seem expensive for what they are. I've even thought of using Rust-Oleum AE0030001E8 400ml Direct to Plastic Spray Paint - White at £9.49 from Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001W03PPO/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza#:~:text=Rust-Oleum AE0030001E8,Brand%3A Rust-Oleum or try this link https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001W03PPO/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza Has anyone used this and if so, did it do the job? Cheers, folks
  13. Thank you all for your help. I had no knowledge of FFD and would not have taken that into consideration when buying one. Also, I well avoid fan assisted as when converted to 12v well be too much drain on the batteries.
  14. Hi folks, has anyone converted a standard gas cooker/hob & oven to propane? That stuff in the orange metal bottle we use on our boats? It's time to give my kitchen a face lift and want to buy a 'normal cooker' and not a caravany thing. Also, has anyone got a shotgun so I can shoot the Canadian geese!
  15. I'm in a mariner but have taken on board your point. We have had some very cold weather which will affect any battery. It seems to be working again now, though I have it on its highest setting, the freezer box isn't brilliant. Not complaining too much, as at least now it's working ... sort of.
  16. No light flashes, it's just not freezing but it does have power going to it interior light is on. I have had the fridge several years now so I wouldn't put it down to undersized wiring as it's always been fine.
  17. Yes, a narrow boat. Too true. The door is looking scabby but I'm sure I can tidy that up
  18. This could be the issue with mine. There's no leaks and interior light is working so it's getting power.
  19. Thank you, I'll take a look. Fridges for narrow boats are so expensive
  20. Evening to you all, My Shoreline fridge is playing up so I need to buy a new one. Due to the extortionate price I want to look at alternatives. Does anyone know what a CRX fridge is? Or what the CRX stands for? Regards, Chris
  21. That's the worry. I heard they use Fram filters, which I don't rate
  22. Thank you, not sure if any of these have the none return valve. Would prefer a known make if possible
  23. Hi all, I have a Kubota D1105 generator which needs a service. I'm trying to find out the correct oil filter for this. It currently has a Crosland 2025, but not sure this is the correct one. Beta Marine supply their own, 211 60390 which is hard to cross reference as it's their own number. Can anyone please help? Many thanks,
