  1. Compressor mounted remotely??? Replaced the fan??? Can you go into more detail I thought it was a fridge, not a Transformer Autobot
  2. It is enough for my needs... if I drink only red :-)
  3. I've just stumbled onto the Vitrifrigo C39i Boat & Caravan 2 Way Compressor Fridge http://www.jacksonsleisure.com/caravan-and-camping/fridges/2-way-fridges/vitrifrigo-c39i-boat-caravan-2-way-compressor-fridge/ It the same as the Shoreline Small Fridge - R39, even the photos the same. Does anyone know if these are good fridges? They use the Danfoss BD 35 compressor which seems the best.
  4. If 42cm is too small, does anyone know what is the shallowest on the market (around £500)?
  5. Hi all, It is clear 12v fridge is better than a 240v one for a boat that is mainly without shoreline. Power consumption, inverter risks, etc. I'm struggling to find a good make of 12v fridge that is less than 42cm deep. Does anyone know of any? Thanks, Charlie
  6. Awesome advice. Well, that item has been deleted from my wish list. Thanks.
  7. It seems a very good value fridge. The smaller Reggio fridge has 3 good reviews, but none for this model. I've never heard of the make. I would appreciate opinions or experience with this make. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01EWZA57Q Thanks, Charlie
  8. So they look a good? It seems worth the small risk for such a low price. Did you find any reviews of these panels online, I haven't?
  9. Damn auto-spell-checkers.... Does it look a good deal? I am also thinking of getting three. Three of those is the cost of one LG.
  10. Bible Solar have some 255W Canadian Solar Polycrystalline panels for £99. They are surplus from a solar farm but still seem a bargain. What do you think? If not good then any better suggests?

  12. I agree with the fact that a present solid fuel is the best option, but totally disagree with rest. I don't want to get into a debate so I will say simply, I am sure there are many interesting products yet to be discovered by the narrowboat community. If I could afford lithium batteries then this product would be very suitable. With the developments in batteries by Tesla and advancements in the cost-effective production of graphene, we many see soon narrowboat completely powered by batteries.
  13. What do you think of narrowboatwindows.co.uk? I saw the video and the concept of the s-type windows looks very interesting. Is it the same company as Worchester Marina windows? Or maybe the sx-type is better. It's either those or the hopper ones from Wesley.
  14. Ah damn it, another idea blow away by knowledge, logic and experience.
  15. Hi all, What do you think of this heating system? I'm very interested in buying one for my refit. SD12-4000/4 DC THERMAL12 VOLT 4 DUCTED HEATER 40 AMPS 480 WATTS 8016 BTU’s http://ebay.eu/1tdWjdr
