About Me
I am the older son of Alan and Cath Fincher.
I have been boating with them since 2001, first on a number of Wyvern Shipping holidays, then on Chalice (2005-2015), Sickle (2011-present) and Flamingo (2014-present).
In that time, I've explored most of the waterways between London and Leeds (including all three yards of the Uttoxeter canal), competed in the 2014 BCN Marathon challenge, been at a number of boating events (variously as crew, photographer, Viking wrangler and folk musician), partaken in a lot of boat maintenance, and only fallen in once... well, once and a half.
